75 Years of ETO: International Celebration at the Location in Stockach

The 75th anniversary of the ETO GRUPPE was all about the internationality of our corporate group at the Open House on July 1, 2023. Around 2,500 visitors from the Lake Constance region as well as parts of the workforce of our twelve international locations celebrated in Stockach and turned our anniversary into a major international event.

Internationality is a key theme of the entire anniversary year. The week before the event, managers from all ETO locations came together at the headquarters in Stockach for the "General Management Meeting" and spent three days together defining strategies for the future.

"All locations together build our ETO GRUPPE. Of course, we celebrated this strong community on our 75th anniversary," explains Dr. Michael Schwabe, CEO of the ETO GRUPPE.

The diversity we live together was visible everywhere on the premises of the company. Whether in the multilingual, cheerful exchange between the guests, in the lovingly crafted presentation of the individual locations, in the exciting performances of our subsidiaries and development projects, or in the intercultural, culinary offerings, which provided the guests with typical national specialties matching the international ETO locations – the festival had many highlights to offer.

The guided tours through the production, the insight into the company history and the "marketplace" with a fascinating exhibition on the different, mostly also digital fields of application of ETO innovations were particularly popular. These offerings were complemented by the experimental smart3 mobile on innovative materials, the information booths of the ETO subsidiaries farmunited and ecoTech, as well as the impressive exhibition vehicles such as the TUfast-E vehicle and an agricultural test field.

While a photo box and spectacular seven-meter throws against the handball goalkeeper of the Constance HSG led to many laughs, the science show of the Physikanten on the ETO stage thrilled the spectators and caused many an astonished face. There was also plenty on offer for the little visitors: a children's tent with face painting and handicrafts, an XXL human football table, a bouncy castle looking like a tractor, a climbing wall and a Bobby Car course left nothing to be desired. We are proud of 75 years of company history, but even more so of a common future in which we will master the challenges of tomorrow with innovations and our international team. A heartfelt thank you to all participants, guests, employees, and all partners who made our anniversary week an unforgettable experience. Here is to the next 75 years of ETO!
